Pyramid® + Presponse® SQ

Protect Beef and Dairy Calves from BVDV with a Modified-Live Virus Vaccine

Features & Benefits

PYRAMID + PRESPONSE SQ

1) Single-Dose, Modified-Live Virus Vaccine

  • Protects against bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) Type 1, including Type 1b and Type 2, infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), parainfluenza 3 (PI3), bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) and Mannheimia haemolytica.

  • Provides a duration of immunity of at least 217 days against BVDV Type 1b.

2) Broad Protection

  • Specifically labeled to protect against the most common type of BVDV in the country, Type 1b.

  • Contains the Singer BVDV Type 1 and the 5912 BVDV Type 2 strains, which were specifically selected to offer broad antigen/antibody response.

3) Unique METASTIM Adjuvant

  • Helps provide enhanced protection against key virus antigens, experienced during natural challenges and environmental stress.

4) Effective Whole-Herd Protection

  • Vaccinate cows with Express® FP to prevent persistently infected calves from being born and spreading BVDV.

  • Use PYRAMID 5 + PRESPONSE SQ in calves nursing pregnant cows properly vaccinated with either PYRAMID or EXPRESS FP vaccines.

PYRAMID

The PYRAMID family of modified-live virus vaccines are single-dose products providing broad coverage of bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) Types 1 and 2, infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), parainfluenza 3 (PI3) and bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV).

  • The addition of the unique METASTIM adjuvant helps stimulate a strong immune response; METASTIM is a trusted adjuvant in many Boehringer Ingelheim vaccines that helps provide the best possible protection against key virus antigens, even in the face of natural challenges and environmental stress.

  • Vaccines are available in a variety of different combinations, including five-way lepto or Lepto pomona-hardjo.

  • Most products in the PYRAMID family contain the Singer BVDV Type 1 and the 5912 BVDV Type 2 strains, which were specifically selected to offer broad antigen/antibody response.

  • Provides effective whole-herd protection in combination with EXPRESS FP.

    • Vaccinate cows with EXPRESS FP to prevent persistently infected calves from being born and spreading the BVD virus.

    • PYRAMID can be used in calves nursing cows properly vaccinated with either PYRAMID or EXPRESS FP vaccines.

PRESPONSE SQ

  • Aids in the reduction of severity of pneumonic pasteurellosis caused by Mannheimia haemolytica.

PRESPONSE HM

  • Aids in the prevention of pneumonic pasteurellosis by stimulating immunity to Pasteurella multocida and aids in the reduction of respiratory disease due to Mannheimia haemolytica.
