Zimecterin® Gold

(ivermectin 1.55% / praziquantel 7.75%)

Details

Keeping your horses safe from internal parasites can be a difficult task. A horse dewormer can help. ZIMECTERIN GOLD dewormer for horses controls more species and stages of parasites than any other product.

ZIMECTERIN GOLD paste provides effective treatment and control against the following important internal parasites in horses:

  • tapeworms

  • small and large strongyles

  • ascarids

  • bots

  • pinworms

  • threadworms

  • lungworms

For a full list of parasite species and stages see the ZIMECTERIN GOLD Product Insert.

Experts say small strongyles and roundworms (ascarids) are the greatest resistance threats. Small strongyles have developed resistance to two of the three major dewormer classes (benzimidazoles and tetrahydropyrimidines).1,2 Ivermectin for horses, one of the active ingredients in ZIMECTERIN GOLD, remains effective against benzimidazole-resistant small strongyles.3

You have options when it comes to a horse dewormer paste. Talk to your veterinarian to decide if ZIMECTRIN GOLD or Zimecterin (ivermectin paste) 1.87% is right for your horse.
