Formulation Matters.

GASTROGARD contains a unique paste formulation to:

- Protect the omeprazole as it makes its way to the small intestine for adequate absorption.

- Ensure the stability of the product to adhere to the product label claim.

In a 60-day study, the compounded formulations of omeprazole started as low as 63% of labeled concentration and dropped as low as 17% on day 60. GASTROGARD paste concentrations remained stable throughout.2
