As the demographics of equine practitioners have changed, attracting and retaining practitioners in the field has become more difficult. Creation of new paradigms that create a sustainable life in equine practice are needed. This session will review the reasons equine veterinarians leave equine practice, and discuss 12 changes needed to keep them in equine practice in the future.
