  • Safe for use for healthy horses, 3 months of age or older

  • The duration of immunity against rabies is at least one year

     

Dosage & Administration

Shake well before use. For primary vaccination, aseptically inject 1mL (1 dose) intramuscularly (IM) into healthy horses 3 months of age or older.

 

For Neorickettsia risticii, revaccinate with a second 1mL dose intramuscularly 3 or 4 weeks later using this product or PotomavacTM.

 

Revaccinate annually with a single 1 mL dose of Imrab®+PotomavacTM.

Precautions

  • Store at 2-7 ̊C (35-45 °F)

  • Do not freeze

  • Do not mix with other products

  • Use entire contents when first opened

  • Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter

  • This product has not been tested in pregnant mares

  • In case of human exposure contact a physician

 

In rare instances, administration of vaccines may cause lethargy, fever, and inflammatory or hypersensitivity types of reactions. Treatment may include antihistamines, anti-inflammatories, and/or epinephrine. Vaccinating animals whose immune response is compromised by stress, disease, etc. may not produce the desired results.
