OraVet® PLAQUE PREVENTION GEL

INDICATIONS

OraVet® Plaque Prevention Gel is a gel that acts as an invisible barrier to prevent bacteria from sticking to the surface of the teeth—which in turn will help prevent the formation of harmful plaque and tartar. Tasteless and odorless, it’s easily applied by swabbing over the patient's gumline with the included applicator, making at-home dental care a breeze.

CLINICAL BENEFITS

OraVet® Plaque Prevention Gel enables quick and easy at-home application.

    • Maintains the barrier created by the OraVet® Barrier Sealant to reduce plaque and calculus formation.

    • Contains the same patented polymer as OraVet Barrier Sealant, but in a less concentrated gel formulation.

    • Starting 2 weeks after the dental prophy, pet owners apply the gel weekly along the buccal gingival margin using the applicator supplied.

    • Can be applied in less than a minute.

    • Gel is odorless, tasteless, and invisible once applied.

    • Compatible with tooth brushing, dental diets, and dental chews.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Apply OraVet® Plaque Prevention Gel once a week or as directed by a veterinarian to significantly reduce the formation of plaque and calculus.

Before applying OraVet Plaque Prevention Gel, wipe any excess saliva from the front of the pet's teeth and gums, using a paper towel or a clean, dry cloth

  1. Peel back the protective cover from one tray of OraVet Plaque Prevention Gel.

  2. Put a generous amount of gel on the applicator.

  3. While holding the pet's mouth closed, lift the upper lip on one side and spread the gel on the upper teeth and gums at the gum line. Note that it is only necessary to apply the gel to the front of the teeth and gums. Now spread the gel on the lower teeth and gums at the gum line.

  4. Repeat the same procedure on the other side.
  5. Discard the applicator and any leftover gel.
