Before using this product, it is important to read the entire product insert, including the boxed warning.
Cats treated with SENVELGO may be at an increased risk of diabetic ketoacidosis or euglycemic diabetic ketoacidosis, both of which may result in death. Development of these conditions should be treated promptly, including insulin administration and discontinuation of SENVELGO. Do not use SENVELGO in cats with diabetes mellitus who have previously been treated with insulin, who are receiving insulin, or in cats with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. For more information, please see full prescribing information.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: PROZINC® (protamine zinc recombinant human insulin) is for use in cats and dogs only. The most common insulin-related side effect is hypoglycemia. PROZINC is contraindicated during episodes of hypoglycemia and in animals sensitive to protamine zinc recombinant insulin or any other ingredients in PROZINC. For more information, please see full prescribing information.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: SEMINTRA® (telmisartan) is for use in cats only. The most common adverse reactions reported during the field studies included vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, weight loss, anemia and dehydration. SEMINTRA should not be used in cats with a hypersensitivity to telmisartan. For more information, please see full prescribing information.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: TRESADERM® (thiabendazole, dexamethasone, neomycin sulfate solution) is for topical use only in cats and dogs. Avoid contact with eyes. Side effects with TRESADERM are relatively rare, but they may include erythema or discomfort at the application site, increased thirst, and gastrointestinal disturbances. For more information, please see full prescribing information.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: METACAM® (meloxicam) Solution for Injection can be used for dogs and cats. As a class, cyclooxygenase inhibitory NSAIDs may be associated with renal, gastrointestinal, and hepatic toxicity. Animals with known hypersensitivity to meloxicam should not receive METACAM Injection. Repeated use of meloxicam in cats has been associated with acute renal failure and death. Do not administer additional injectable or oral meloxicam to cats. For more information, please see full prescribing information.
