VAXXILIVE™
COCCI 3
The Vaccine for All Seasons
COCCI 3
VAXXILIVE™ COCCI 3 is a biological tool for the prevention of coccidiosis. It is the only coccidial vaccine in the U.S. to offer genetically stable precocious strains of the three important Eimeria species that affect broilers: E. acervulina, E. tenella, and E. maxima.1 These attenuated species of Eimeria are of U.S. origin and were produced by intensive selection for precociousness. They work to stimulate the bird’s natural immune response while minimizing tissue damage.2
-
Biological alternative to in-feed anticoccidial drugs
-
Administered to day-old chicks via coarse spray cabinet in the hatchery
-
Year-round and field boost vaccination
Key Advantages
-
Faster cycling vs. non-precocious strains (about 2 days quicker per cycle) leading to earlier immunity3-5
-
Less oocyst production leading to less damage to the intestine3-5
-
“Seeding” of precocious vaccine strains in the barn environment which are less pathogenic and more drug-sensitive4-6
-
The precocious strains in VAXXILIVE™ COCCI 3 trigger less intestinal damage and better immunity than non-precocious strains7
-
VAXXILIVE™ COCCI 3 strains preserve barrier integrity and produce minimal vaccine reactions4
-
Precocious strains cycle quicker. With shortened life cycles, precocious strains achieve immunity in a shorter period of time than non-precocious strains3-5
-
Our strains provide optimal protection with a faster turnover and less tissue damage and oocyst production than non-precocious strains3-5
-
